Joseph Claude Wallace, MD, FACS
Dr. Wallace received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Wallace has practiced medicine as a general surgeon since 1987. He has a special interest in laparoscope procedures, endoscopy, and breast surgery. In addition to practicing with Surgical Specialists, Dr. Wallace is on staff at DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport DCH, HealthSouth Surgical Center and Bryce Hospital. Dr. Wallace is Board certified with the American Board of Surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Wallace was born in Tuscaloosa, and he and his wife, Henrietta have three children.
